My husband came home on December 9th saying that he had been exposed to Covid. The next morning he went to the ER, and they informed him that he had double pneumonia and Covid. They sent him home and told us to follow up in a few days with our Dr. He went to our Dr on the 17th,and ended up being taken by ambulance to the hospital. He was up and down on his oxygen, but he seemed to be holding his own.

Fast forward to the 31st his Dr called and said that they were needing to put him on a ventilator, but when they tried he went into cardiac arrest for 10 minutes. That night was the first time I saw him since he had been in. The only reason I was able to see him was they didn’t think he would make it, so my son, stepdaughter and I met there. I was hysterical to say the least.

My son and I walked into the room, and when he saw us he started to fight with them ventilator. We told him that he needed to calm down, and the nurse came on and sedated him. The Dr tried to get me to sign a DNR but I refused to. They ended up having to put him on a drug induced coma after that. I kept telling me son that I didn’t like this Dr at all several times. I don’t know why but I just didn’t trust him.

The last day that’s I saw him was the day he passed, Andy, stepdaughter and I walked into the room together, and I had noticed that his temperature was 106! I asked why they weren’t trying to cool him down, but all they did was give me cold rags. I ended up trying to cool him down myself, and it was like none of the staff seemed to care.

I walked over to where his feet were, and ended up standing there trying to get him to wake up but he wouldn’t. The Dr said that we couldn’t stay in there anymore so we left. By the time we walked out to our cars he had passed. I need justice for my husbands passing! He was put on remdisivir while he was in there which ended up shutting down his kidneys,and lungs,and who knows what other organs.
