My mother Dianne Spangler, age 55, passed away from COVID on October 11th 2021 at Parish Medical Center in Titusville, FL. Our story begins with a nurse named Donna Lowery who advocated on my mother’s behalf to receive Ivermectin; the hospitalist, the intensivist and doctor signed off on for her to receive Ivermectin; everyone agreed on this course of treatment. Myself, my sister (who was power of attorney) as well as my mother refused Remdesivir.
However, it was later found out that the CEO of Parish medical center walked down to the pharmacy demanding to know who told our family about Ivermectin and demanded the pharmacist to stop the medication; all of this was done without communication to us. My sister who worked and still works at parish medical center was my mom’s power of attorney and nothing was ever discussed about Ivermectin being stopped with her, we were told she received all 5 doses. It was not until we requested medical documents after hearing some of the other nurses witnessing malpractice being done that, we realized she only received 3 out 5 as well as was not given the proper MG dose of ivermectin but even still she was showing signs of improvement on Ivermectin.
We also found out 3 days after nurse Donna Lowery advocated to us about the amazing benefits of ivermectin, she was fired and now they are going after her licenses. I have tried several attorneys to take on my mom’s case and all are too afraid to stand up and fight for her justice. My mother should be alive today and because of this injustice she has left behind three children and many family and friends who are suffering from her absences.
