My dad fell while going up stairs and hit his cheek bone. My mother wanted him observed for a concussion. At 3:00 am I received a call that he had Covid. In the first week they ran heart tests and other things, but never really said what was wrong. After a week we were to pick him up but they wouldn’t release him 5 minutes before we were to pick him up and claimed he had a fever. My mother, the medical POA told doctors every day “NO Remdesivir”, we later found out they did it anyway. After 21 days we were allowed to see him. He was given Remdesivir and put on a ventilator causing him to be almost unrecognizable. They also tried to tell us he had a DNR but he did not.
I cannot add to this at this time, it’s too hard.
