Cindy’s Simmons Story
Danny Ray Simmons served and protected his country and his community his whole life. Unfortunately, his country did not protect his life in return.
Danny tested positive for Covid in November of 2020. On November 25th, his oxygen dropped and Cindy, his wife, took him to the emergency room. The ER admitted him, stating that he had Covid Pneumonia and they immediately ordered remdesivir. Danny got five days of remdesivir, and his condition declined each day of the treatment. Two days after his last dose, they did a chest x-ray and saw his lungs had gotten worse, along with his lab work.
The doctor called and said that they needed to put Danny on a ventilator just so he could rest a few days. Danny’s labs showed that now he had developed a kidney injury, a common side effect of remdesivir. The hospital did not do anything else to help Danny recover. Cindy had requested them use ivermectin, but her request was denied, stating they only follow the approved hospital protocol… remdesivir. They did give Danny many other drugs on the vent, such as sleeping meds, anxiety meds, sedation meds; medications that make it nearly impossible to wean someone off a ventilator. Danny’s d-dimer number was off, he developed blood clots as well.
Danny spent the last 46 days of his life alone and on a ventilator. He ended up having two heart attacks, which the last one was fatal. However, the hospital listed his cause of death is acute hypoxic respiratory failure and Covid19 Pneumonia, not a heart attack. We all know that a Covid death is worth a lot more money than listing a heart attack.
Cindy nor their children ever got to see him. They watched him pass through a glass window on January 14, 2021. She also noticed that everyone on the ICU unit, who had been treated with the remdesivir protocol, were all dying.
She can not believe that remdesivir is still being used…neither can we.
