First off the PCP doctor was not helpful he did not prescribe any prophylactic, he did not prescribe any breathing treatments just basically left my dad out to dry.  My dad did take ivermectin which I believe did help him to overcome the flu like symptoms he had. However because pneumonia can come from this virus that was what was left to be treated, which ivermectin cannot do.

When my dad went to the ER via ambulance I was on my way to his house  with a nebulizer to get him breathing treatments with a steroid medicine that we had on hand. Unfortunately neighbors, my mom and husband were worried and pressured him into going to the ER. Everyone now regrets that. I would have kept him home with the ambulance and oxygen. Anyway. Upon arrival his oxygen levels had increased and he was doing better. There was a lot of confusion with what hospital he was going to. I was late getting to him and the ER would not let me in to see him. I wanted to get him on the nebulizer ASAP. The ER doctor literally told the nurse to tell me, there was nothing else he could do. I couldn’t break my dad out of the hospital unless I wanted to go to jail. We felt helpless, our hands were tied and it was up to my dad to bust himself out of there if he wanted to live. We texted and tried to talk on the phone but he was so uncomfortable it was hard to manage a phone from where he was at. He deserved to have someone sitting with him. The ER doctor tried to give him Remdesivir, Dad called us on his phone and we all told him no. The doctor prescribed him barcitinib and did not give him any breathing treatments they just gave him vasotherm oxygen, an IV and just left them there until it was time to be taken to the ICU. Again, ZERO breathing treatments to help the pneumonia.
They did not call us in the middle of the night when they transferred him to another hospital/ICU. They did not call us in the middle of the night to tell us he was being intubated. When I woke the next morning I had to call and track down my father. I had no chance to speak to my father before he was intubated. He laid on the ventilator for 4 1/2 days until he died. I had to fight for vitamins. I had to write a letter to his PCP for vitamins (!!!!) they finally agreed to give him vitamin C and A, but they still gave him no breathing treatments. They literally fought me on this….The ventilator blew out his lung. The ventilator, meds and all the sedation literally just caused his body to disintegrate…they slowly medically murdered my father,  they did not treat the pneumonia.
