Name of Victim: Edward “Bud” Buddin
Age: 55 years old
Admitted to hospital: 02/17/2021
Treatment received at hospital: Treated poorly
Experience in hospital:
My husband was isolated from everyone including myself, his wife. He and I begged and pleaded that the hospital NOT treat him with remdesivir and absolutely NEVER wanted him on a ventilator. My husband was given five 5 treatments of remdesivir, immediately his kidneys and liver stopped functioning. He was taken to ICU and put on a vent WITHOUT any knowledge to me. The doctors had stated to me, “they did not understand why I didn’t want him to be treated with remdesivir or put on a vent, but it didn’t matter.” My husband did not have a living will and therefore he nor I were acknowledged about his treatment. He was isolated, alone and I received ONLY one call from his doctors the full 15 days he was in the hospital before dying a horrible death. I cannot speak to all they did to him or all meds they gave him as I was ignored and not consulted.
Was the victim informed about remdesivir's EUA status?: idr
Informed of RMV side effects?: yes
Was there consent for the use of remdesivir?: no
Date victim was placed on a ventilator: 02/28/2021
Days on a ventilator: : 2 days
Person being interviewed: Karen Buddin
Relationship To Victim: Wife
Pursuing legal action?: yes
Engaging in activism: yes
What types of activism: I have founded a 501(c) 3 in my husbands memory. I have been outspoken in my community about his treatment. I have reached out to the Governor and state senators of my state. I have a podcast to address the horrors of families and victims of covid protocols at hospitals. I speak regularly on a local radio show and answer questions for all victims. I beg families to please come forward and let their voice be heard. I advocate for justice for ALL victims and their families
The world should know my husband was 55 and had no underlying conditions. He was my world, my life, my happiness and the hospital and our government killed my husband.
Betrayal of Bud: Karen B’s Story
Written by Karen Buddin(Wife)
My husband was a healthy vibrant 55-year-old man, who had a zest for life and loved living. On February 11th he test positive for Covid. On February 16th I took him to Grand Strand Hospital, Myrtle Beach, SC. We spent 22 hours (together) in the ER. They admitted my husband on the afternoon of February 17th and hollowed at me through a cracked door, I could not stay with him.
My husband used his cell phone to communicate with me for a few days, the only communication I had about what was happening to him. The doctors called me only once in 15 days and they got angry and hollowed at me, “to stop crying, because my husband didn’t need to hear it.” They refused my request and my husbands request to give him hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin.
However they were adamant about treating him with Remdesivir. He and I begged them not to treat him with Remdesivir, but our pleas were ignored and I was told, “they did not understand why I didn’t want them to treat him with Remdesivir, but it didn’t matter.” Immediately my husband kidneys and liver failed and they sent him to ICU and put him on a ventilator, something he abs I had stated clearly we did NOT want.
I found out my husband was in ICU on a vent Saturday February 28, 2021 in the late afternoon because I hadn’t heard from his doctors, so I called to inquire about my husband and the nurse answered, “ICU” I ask her to repeat herself and she said, “ICU” I then asked if my husband was in ICU and she said, “yes.” I ask why no one called to tell me and she said, “because we don’t have to.”
My husband had heart failure on March 2nd and I was called to the hospital and finally allowed to see him for the first time in 15 days…my husband was already gone but they CRUELLY continued the charade of keeping him on a vent which was only forcing air into his lifeless body!
