It all started on 11/23/2021, when an ambulance came to pick up my mother at her home due to breathing problems.  She was taken to Kaweah delta hospital in Visalia, California.  In the ER department, they ran lots of tests on her blood work, x-rays, etc.  I called the ER department and ask them to take a COVID-19 test.  My brother had taken a Covid home test, but was not sure if she had it, so I asked them to retake it.

The doctor had called me and said they had some results back from x-ray and informed me that she had COVID pneumonia.  They started her on a CPAP the next morning, and I called to see how she was doing.  The nurse had informed me that they were going to admit my mother to the COVID-19 unit.  I explained to the nurse that I did not want my mother sent to the COVID-19 unit because we were not sure that she had COVID, and I did not want her to be exposed and catch the virus.  The nurse had mentioned that that was the doctor’s orders because x-ray has shown COVID-19 pneumonia.  They reassured me that my mother would not be next to any COVID-19 patients until they got results back.

Later that day, I called to see if the results were in, and the nurse had mentioned that the COVID-19 results were negative.  So I was not happy.  I was very upset, because now she was exposed being there in the COVID-19 unit.

So, I spoke to the nurse and asked her what the plan was.  She told me that they had started my mother on her first dose of remdesivir, and she has four more days. I asked her why she would give her any medication’s without my mother’s and my consent?  She had told me that was doctor’s orders, and the hospital’s protocol.  Everyone who has COVID receives remdesivir. I told her stop the medication right away!  I did not want her having that, and I would like to talk to the doctor right away.

The doctor called me up, and I spoke with him.  I told him I would like him to start her on ivermectin.  He told me they did not give ivermectin in the hospital, so I explained to him that I did not want her to have any more remdesivir.

During my mom‘s time in the hospital, she was on 100% CPAP.  They had her sedated all the time.  When I did talk to her, she would tell me that they wouldn’t feed her or give her anything to drink.  I spoke to the doctor asking what else we can do?  She cannot go without food or water. How is she going to get better if she isn’t eating?  The doctor just told me that she’s going to make it; nothing we can do, she will need to be on a ventilator soon.  He asked me if I wanted to sign a DNR. I said, “Absolutely not!  Do whatever you can to keep her alive.”

My mother had called me. I don’t know how she did it, but she called me on her cell phone and told me that they were not feeding her giving her any water; they were just walked by her.  She wanted to get out because they were trying to kill her, and to please investigate.  I called the charge nurse of that department and asked her why they’re not feeding her.  She told me that they did not want her to aspirate, so basically they’re just waiting for her to die.

I demanded to talk to the doctor and to see her. The doctor told me the only way I can see her if she is put on hospice.  At this point, I didn’t care.  I wanted her out of the hospital, so whatever I had to say I did.  When I got there to see my mother, she was so happy that my brother and I both got to go in. I was just so confused.

I fed her and I gave her water. I had to turn down the oxygen,  and she did fine, but once we left by the next morning, the doctor called and told me, “We have to put her on that ventilator.”  I said, “I just left her, and she was fine.”  We had her on FaceTime talking to the family.

The doctors knew she was getting out the next day, and they wanted to assure me that if they brought down the oxygen level, she wo!uld not make it; that was not true.  The night before she was going to leave, she had been fine.

They told me she was overwhelmed so they were going to give her fentanyl. I asked why they said that. They answered, because she needs rest for five minutes.  After they gave her fentanyl, she stopped breathing.  I told the nurse, “She stopped breathing!”  They said, “No, she’s just asleep. Her heart rate is really low, but she’s asleep.”  I looked at my brother, and I said, “No, she’s not. She’s not breathing!”  A minute later, my mother took her last breath and died.  I really think that they knew.  They had to kill her before she left the hospital, otherwise, they wouldn’t get the money for a COVID-19 patient, because they’re calling her death COVID-19 pneumonia.

There’s not a day that I don’t think about my mother and what they did to her.
