I took my mother to an instacare ( which is part of the hospital) on December 23, 2021, after x rays and blood work, the PA came back and told me that my mom was not sick and they could nothing for her.  She was clearly ill.  On December 25, 2021, my mother could not eat and anything she would drink she would vomit black puke.  It was constant.

My sister and I took her to the emergency room and they hooked her up to and IV pumping her full of liquids, which once she would puke up.  After her blood work was taken, the doctor came and stated that she had RSV and just to take her home, he gave her nothing.  I showed him the ten bags of puke that I had and he looked at it, spelled a little and stated “who doesn’t like a good bag of puke”, it was clearly black in color.  We took her home, she did not sleep for the next couple of days and continued to puke up the black vomit.

Finally on December 27, 2021 at 5 am, my sister and I called for an ambulance.  They came immediately and she was in the emergency room between 7 am and 7:30 am.  They asked right away if she was vaccinated and we said no.  They changed their whole demeanor at that time.  They hooked up her to an IV and about an hour later the respiratory therapists came in a placed bipap on her and did not fit it correctly.  She turned on the oxygen and left the room never once coming back to see if things were done correctly.  My mother could not breath so I would take the bipap off of her face because the air was flowing so hard that her face was rumbling.  It was horrible.  After about 2 hours I asked the nurse if I could take it off because she was crying and she was very thirsty because she kept puking.

I handed bag after bag and the nurses ignored it.  My sister and I were so busy just trying to care for her that we really did not understand what was happening and asking several times when the doctor would come in.  The nurses kept telling us that they would have to call him, however, no one came.  About 1 pm, they moved to  the ICU unit.  The nurse asked if we knew that my mom had a lump around her groin area and I said no, even though, the nurses had inserted a catheter bag in the ER.  I once again asked if a doctor was going to come in soon and check on her and they once again said that they would have call him.  NO one came.

She continued to puke and they once again ignored it.  She ended up puking all over herself, so the nursing staff had to clean her up, however, no one would come check on her, it was just me and my sister.  After about 2 hours my mom became very delirious and started seeing things that were not there.  We had asked the nurse if one of us could stay since they were not checking on her and she would end up choking on her own puke.  About 8:30 pm, they said that one of us could stay, my sister volunteered and I would come back first thing in the morning and relieve her.  I left about 8:45 pm and my sister called about an hour later saying that mom died.

I could not believe my ears and asked what happened.  She said that the doctor came in around 9:10 pm and stayed for about 10 mins, doing nothing and not checking her blood work and ignoring the fact that she had been vomiting for 3 days straight.  He left and 10 min later my mom went into a seizure and died.  My sister said that a lab tech came in  and stated that mom had a twisted bowel and she became septic.  This could have been addressed during the first emergency room visit, because I know that they took x rays and blood work.  Even the black vomit should have been a sign that something was wrong and more tests could have been done and surgery to correct it.  I have never seen anything like in my life, the sheer disregard for life and right in front of our faces.  And the fact the whole incident has been dismissed by the hospital, as well as , their actions being justified.  I have put together an entire notebook with my recollection of the entire incident from start to finish.
