My husband and I got sick once we saw our primary care doctor we asked if we could have ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine because we both tested positive for Covid. She said she couldn’t prescribe those drugs it was against policies and gave us steroids antibiotics and inhalers. But she did set us up for the Monacolano antibodies. Which we got. She told us also if our oxygen dipped below 90 to go to the ER. We were on oxygen at home and our oxygen did dip into the 80s so we panicked and went to the ER.

As I said above they asked if we were vaccinated. And then administered us some medication which made me feel really weird so I asked what they gave us, and she said Remdesivir and some other drugs. I immediately said no we did not give you permission to give us that and we do not want anymore. We were also given sheets of paper after they put us in a room asking if we wanted a DNR and if we wanted to be ventilated if need be. We both say no ventilator no DNR.

So after a few hours of being in separate rooms in the Covid ward the nurse yelled out at me and said you need to call your husband he wants to go home, I said I’m not gonna call him I got out of my bed and went into his room and he said we could get better care at home let’s go this is just the cafeteria all they did was give us a  menu no care at all!! So we called a friend who came down and got us from the oxygen with us. One of the worst discharges I’ve ever seen from the hospital they just ripped our IVs out leaving huge bruises and lots of blood on our arms.

We were home for a couple days with some ivermectin, a lot of the other vitamins and hydroxychloroquine that help you combat Covid. But that one dose of Remdesivir just took his toll on my husband he became hypoxic he wouldn’t leave his oxygen on, asking to have a bullet, falling and I was very sick too luckily we had a friend helping us and when we couldn’t get him up on that next Sunday we called the ambulance. He did not want to go back to the hospital that we were at the ER so we had them take him to the bigger hospital same group.

I called ahead and said no protocol medication and he has some signed forms on file that we signed at the other hospital that I know you are privy to please follow his wishes.  But they put him on a ventilator, the next day they called to tell me one of his lungs collapsed and they had to put in a chest tube. And because I was still positive I couldn’t go in and see him. So by day seven I was cleared by our health department and I went in and they had given him a paralytic and sedation because he was on a ventilator and he was fighting the ventilator is what they told me. By day 10 he had bedsores his face was swollen and the day before the doctor told me if he was to recover he would have to have a tracheotomy and a feeding tube because of the ventilator.

So after I left on day 10 they said that they were going to try to wake him up that evening and see how he was doing but by 9 PM they called and said he was trying to pass away can we get there they could keep them alive until we get there . We live an hour away. So my daughter and I got there and at 11:45 PM November 2 he passed away. I so believe that if we never were given those drugs that we probably would’ve gotten well I don’t know how I pulled through and he didn’t because they told me I was worse than him. I really want to find justice for my husband and will do anything and everything to bring it to fruition.
