On 11-08-2021, my mother went to the St. Anthony’s in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  She tested positive for COVID-19, then was sent home due to not running a fever, even though the medical records state she left against medical advice (AMA.)..  My sister was there, so we know that’s not true, as well as no signature of hers on any of the release forms.

Then on 11-13-2021, my mother was picked up by ambulance at my sister’s house, and taken to the St. Anthony’s hospital in Shawnee Oklahoma.  She suffered a mild heart attack when they lifted her off the bed.

Once at the hospital, they began treatment.  We were not allowed to see her.  They stated she wasn’t sick enough for us to see, and would be going home in a few days.  They failed to tell us she was septic, morbid and had a high mortality rate.  In fact, they told us she was responding to treatment very well…They lied on her records even saying family showed no concerns, and were updated every hour on the hour, when in fact, we were told not to call…

We asked the nurse, John Sparks, what happened, he said he went to check on my mom and she took off her mask as she tried to tell him something.  He said he could not understand her…made her put her mask back on…  She took it off again, then he put it back on her, and walked out of the room,  Five minutes later, she started declining fast…in the records, he called her delusional and delirious…

My mother died while they were trying to vent her.  Once I arrived at the hospital, after they called us, they said give us ten minutes and you can go see your mom…down the same hall, in the same room, we were denied access to 6 hours prior to that.
