My father contracted Covid in a nursing home when they didn’t isolate members and a lot of people died. I knew when I got the phone call from the nursing home that dad contracted Covid. This was an early January 2021 that I needed to get him help so I had him transferred to the hospital to be looked over before getting transferred to a different part of the nursing home that provided care.

I had to do this over the phone as I live in North Carolina and dad‘s in Indiana, I asked him to give him ivermectin and I asked the doctors to and they refused. I received a phone call in early January that dad was in a coma. I flew home and went to the hospital. I garb top and all the necessary garb because I had already contracted Covid.

When I saw dad he was in bad shape already but sitting up in the chair that was the picture I have here attached they said he wouldn’t eat nice I will have you try to make him eat and they responded that there was some Jell-O laying there, and I said will get me some food so I can try to feed him  I tried to feed him he did you little and didn’t feel well and went to sleep.

I sat with my dad we talked a little bit. He told me he loved me and I helped him to the bathroom as no one there would help him I was staying in a hotel this time close to the hospital. I went back to the hospital to visit this was the third day  And they escorted me out saying they can’t hospital administration rules will not allow me to stay. I said this is ridiculous.

Let me talk to someone I talk to someone and they still refused to let me see dad. They escorted me again out of the hospital. Several times I went back to try to get to see dad they refused , the doctor on charge I can get his name kept calling me every other day to let me know. Dad‘s status was not good that he was not eating. I said well why were you treating him and they said they were not treating him for Covid I again asked to give him ivermectin and ready they refused .

I kept begging the doctor to please let me know when I can see my father, as he was now not eating for the 10th day and I’m assuming he would not be able to sustain very much longer. I tried to get him in the hospital so I could see him from hospice and hospice accepted him and I was excited but the hospital refused to transfer him on the basis that dad had a Covid test and it was still showing positive , I said this is ridiculous.

I want my father in hospice and they refused to move him on January 18. They called me in the morning and told me Dad had already passed away. I was extremely upset and out of my mind. My father was everything to me I told them he had was a Catholic man all of us live Hungarian Catholic and needed to have the last rites. Had they had they done that? Had they even bothered to find out what his religion was no, they kept him alone, incapacitated without anyone, including myself, until he died.

I believe they got money for his ex Covid death and they didn’t want to move him. I tried contacting a lawyer afterwords, but they said there were too many conflicts of interest that they could not represent me in the hall at the hospital I tried to talk to several lawyers to sue the hospital, but after a while, I just was let down and went home to North Carolina.
