Ivermectin was requested but was told it’s not effective for treatment and the hospital has its own protocol. A family member called Corona and also asked but was also denied. Challenged by medical staff over not getting vaccinated. Belittled for waiting on more info on the vaccine — told it was approved and safe. No therapy received at Corona Regional. I had to ask for assistance to be prone, and asked to be put in the bedside chair so I could gain strength. I was left unattended in chair for hours and had to call a family member to get help as there was no response to the call button. I didn’t know that you should be up and moving with pneumonia. I believe God began directing me in what needed to be done to get better; moving my arms and legs and rolling from side-to-side in bed. I was very fatigued and didn’t think I could do it, but I believe God said He’d help me and He did, so I did my own PT in bed — unassisted.

At Kindred an LVN said that she was tired of unvaccinated covid patients coming into the hospital, and that if they didn’t want the vaccine that was fine, but just stay home and die. I addressed that comment with her and explained that many people just wanted more information before being injected with something that was rushed. Numerous mishaps at Kindred, which involved the infectious disease doctor, and others. Attempted to get answers to no avail.
