Was the victim treated differently as a result of disclosing their vax status?: yes
How victim was treated differently after disclosing vax status:
After I told the Dr I hadn't had the vac and would not take it he told me I was going to die tonight and it was all my fault and he hoped I suffered for not getting the shot.
At the hospital I was tested for Covid 4 times. The first 3 were negative. Then on the 5th day they got a positive Covid Test. I was Isolated and told I was going to die constantly.
Name of Victim: Teresia Whisnant
Age: 49 years old
Date of onset of symptoms: 11/29/2021
First sought medical attention: 12/07/2021
Admitted to hospital: 12/07/2021
Treatment received at hospital: Treated poorly
Experience in hospital:
Was told I deserved what was happening to me. They told me that I would die and they made me lay in the bed restrained. I was told they didn't have time to clean me and was made to lay in my own waste. I asked them to let me clean myself and they said no. I had my hair in a pony tail when I went to the hospital and they would pull me up by my hair. I did not feel safe and was told that wasn't their problem. And they didn't even give me a choice of being hospital they just took me away and told my husband he had to leave.
The treatment was like being kidnapped and isolated. And was not allowed to leave. I had my hair in a pony tail when I went to the hospital and they would pull me up by my hair. I did not feel safe and was told that wasn't their problem.
Teresia Whisnant – A Survivor Story
Written by Teresia Whisnant
The only reason I went to the hospital was because I knew I had pneumonia. I have asthma and was in respiratory distress. When I arrived at the hospital, I was rushed away without my consent. At the hospital I was tested for Covid 4 times. The first 3 were negative. Then on the 5th day they got a positive Covid Test.
During the time I was hospitalized they isolated me and told me that I was going to die. They told me that I did it to my self and they had no sorrow for me. After I refused the remdesivir, the Dr was even more angry. I called my husband and told him they were trying to kill me. They told my husband that I would die if I did not go on a ventilator. Once I was put on a ventilator, my family was told I would never come off or wake up.
I was often left laying in my own waste and developed bed sores. They denied me water or ice. I remember begging for ice. Only one nurse, named Jordan, would bring me some. She would encourage me and say things like, “we got this” and “I’m going to help you”. Jordan was the only person who did try to take good care of me. On Jan 8 2022, I was transported to another hospital in Richmond VA named Vibro. The treatment was even worse at that hospital. I told them the beginning of February that if I was not released I would sign my self out and I made them release me. I came home February 8 2022 and they fought me every step of the way. I’m still scared to be alone and my anxiety is high.
