“Forced Remdesivir”

My husband and I both contracted Covid. He lost taste and smell on Tuesday, and our family doctor put him on meds at home.
He was admitted to McLaren Hospital on Thursday. I then tested positive on Thursday, and was admitted on Saturday. We were put in the same room .
On Monday a nurse came in with two IV bags, and I asked what she had. I was told Remdesivir. I told her we did not want it, because it would shut down our kidneys, She said, “If you are in this hospital with Covid, this is what you get,” and proceeded to hook us up.
We were both on oxygen and unable to move off the bed. They gave us a new bag every day for five (5) days. We seemed to be alright, then two (2) days after the last bag, my husband started to have more breathing problems and he looked swollen. The nurses said they would take him to ICU medicate him, and lay him on his stomach to breathe easier. They said they would not ventilate him.
The next morning they came down and said he was ventilated. I went to ICU three (3) times and saw him, and I could tell he was failing. I asked the lung doctor for Ivermectin or HCQ, and he told me I was trying to kill my husband. I felt utterly helpless watching him swell up. He then suffered a heart attack. He died 4 days after the heart attack.
You are right, this is very difficult to talk about. He was 78 and in good health only took a cholesterol pill.

To: It was terrible...I had to call the squad because Bob's oxygen level had dipped to the 70's. 911 to Warren County Ohio/Clearcreek Township. They weren't concerned at all about Bob. They wanted to know how many people were in our house and had we all been tested. They said Bob had to meet them at the door. When they pulled up to our house, they only parked in the street. Not the driveway. They wanted Bob to WALK to the ambulance. Insisted they put him on a gurney. They didn't turn on lights or sirens. Bob texted when he got to Sycamore and said they didnt give him oxygen in the squad. He was taken to Sycamore and they said their covid floor was full. I had to choose between Fort HAmilton or Grandview Hospital...neither have good reputations. I chose Grandview. While he was there, I spoke to a nurse once and had to take his c-pap machine to the hospital. I parked in the physicians lot...it was empty. I never had 1 call from a doctor his whole time at Grandview. He was intubated without my consent. I was able to get him transferred to Christ hospital in Cinci and he was put on an ecmo machine there. He lasted almost 2 months. The treatment at Christ was vastly different than Grandview. NEVER spoke to a dr once at Grandview. Why didnt they give him oxygen in the squad?
