I called the ambulance because my wife kept passing out and had extremely low BP. She didn’t have any breathing problems. They wouldn’t let me see her while in the hospital and lied to me about her status.

They put her on a ventilator, her lungs filled up with fluid, her kidneys and other organs began to shut down and she died of sepsis within 48 hours. I obtained the medical records, which they made difficult to obtain, showing they had put her on morphine and sedatives.

I saw a doctor, a couple weeks ago, who looked at her medical records and he said, “If she had just gotten fluids sooner, there was a 60% chance she would have survived.”  He also said that she might have vomited while in the hospital causing an obstruction in her throat and lungs. This probably caused the fluids to build up in the lungs. Additionally, he said that they should have known from the lab work that they should have been treating her for sepsis earlier.

The only time I got to talk to a doctor, Darryl Fisher, he had said there was something in her throat but could not identify it. He also had told me, along with the nurses, that my wife was unconscious while in their care. Imagine my shock when the medical records said otherwise. I had brought a cell phone for my wife to the hospital, but I don’t think it was given to her.
