It’s all started with breathing issues a couple of days before he went into the hospital. A couple of days later my brother took him to the hospital and he was admitted. They gave him a Covid test and said he did not have Covid. A couple of days later they tested him again. They said he did have Covid but he was not feeling any effects from it.

We video chatted every day. Twice a day morning and afternoon. I would show my brother the sunshine and scenery because he was in a room with no windows. He was with seven other people and no air-conditioning because they didn’t want it to spread through the air. This was August in Texas!  They had a very small fan in there for seven patients at a time. No visitors were allowed in this room. His nurse said it looked like a Third World hospital.

I believe it was the fourth or fifth day while were video chatting and he told me he felt really good. He said he was ready to go home. He was excited and was waiting for the doctor to walk in. When the doctor walked in and said, “Andy we’re going to keep you 10 more days”. Andy asked him, “Why are you keeping me 10 more days”. This doctor said, “Just to be sure that everything is OK”. They started the Remdesivir after that.

The doctor told the nurse they were also going to have to ventilate my brother. But first the doctor had to go and “google how to administer the ventilator”. She told the doctor he did not need Remdesivir and that he definitely did not need a ventilator. Then she went to her immediate supervisor Alan Brunt and told him that my brother needed respiratory medicine. The supervisor said no way it was too damn expensive.

After days on rim death severe the doctor administered the ventilator. At which time the doctor punctured an artery while he was administering the ventilator. Now they had to move my brother to another hospital because the doctor was not qualified to do surgery on his artery. When they moved my brother that evening they were supposed to do surgery on him at 2 o’clock that afternoon the next day at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton Texas. They waited another 24 hours to do the surgery on his artery and they noticed his left lung had already been blown out due to the high oxygen.

The next morning they called us at 4 o’clock in the morning and said he had died of a double heart attack. My brother and I were very close. On the anniversary of his death, God prompted me to get off my butt an do something. I started a podcast. Currently on Facebook but growing. It’s called Truth Justice 23. My favorite scripture is Psalm 23.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.
