Was the victim treated differently as a result of disclosing their vax status?: yes
How victim was treated differently after disclosing vax status:
I was regularly told that I would die if I didn’t get a vaccine and ever got COVID-19 again. I was regularly asked to complete an end of life document.
Pulmonologist: "You need to sign a DNR. Not vaxxed? You know if you get COVID-19again, you're going to die."
Name of Victim: Scott Taylor
Age: 66 years old
Admitted to hospital: 01/20/2022
Treatment received at hospital: Treated well
Experience in hospital:
The treatment review and testing was done on a regular basis. Treatment (remdesivir) was never mentioned by any provider. I asked on the third day what was in the IV, and the nurse told me. At that point, I had no way to discontinue its uses since different doctors (other than the Pulmonologist) were seeing me every day. I was asked by everyone that saw me if I had a COVID-19 vaccine. I was asked by every doctor that saw me, every time they saw me, if I had an End of Life and DNR document signed. I always refused, and refused repeated attempts to put me in a ventilator. The best advice I received in the elective ordeal was from an ER nurse who was wonderful.
Medications given: Remdesivir, blood thinner, blood pressure meds, gabapentin, Oxygen, Steroids, vit c
How long was the victim on remdesivir?: 4 days
Was the victim informed about remdesivir's EUA status?: no
I had oxygen levels in the 70’s and my daughter took me to the ER. She was not allowed to see me once I tested positive for COVID-19. That was the last family member I could see for the next two weeks.
I was put on high-flow oxygen in ER and asked to continue it. (I had a bit of knowledge about good and bad protocols, so I attempted to do the right things). I was unknowingly administered remdesivir, and didn’t find out, on my own, about it until day four of the five-day regimen.
Eventually, I went to a rehab for several weeks and returned home with a long physical eco dry. I now have numb feet, tingling in my lower legs, and cramps in my legs at night. I am also short of breath.
