When they discussed venting him, they told him that he would have brain damage if they did not vent him. They told him that he would be vented for just 2 weeks. The last time I talked to my father was on that day and I begged him not to let them vent him. His last words were "Honey, I'll talk to you in 2 weeks." That was the last time I spoke to my father.
