Leonard and Adrienne’s Story

Len was not feeling well on November 19, 2020. Len and Adrienne went to Medexpress and were tested for Covid 19. Both were positive. They went home and on Thanksgiving morning 26th of November of 2020, Len got weak and fell in the bathroom. Paramedics were called and they took Len to Jefferson hospital where he was admitted. His son was not allowed to accompany his father into the ER.
Len was initially on regular O2, he received medications listed above, and after a few days was moved onto a Bipap and given Ativan for anxiety on November 28th. Later, he was in wrist restraints because he tried to remove the mask.
Adrienne was told not to call for updates as she was calling too much. She was to tell the family to quit calling as they were calling too much.
She never called from heart doctors, respiratory doctors or infectious disease doctors ( after day 1) .
December 3rd they said he went into cardiac arrest, they tried to resuscitate him. They could not revive him and he passed away December 3, 2020.
