The Interview with Jill Parton
Jill’s Story
Leon “Buck” and Jill Parton were together 17 years and had two kids. Buck was only 50yrs old when he came down with Covid. On December 12th, 2021, his birthday, he needed to go to the hospital. They thought he had a bad sinus infection. However, the hospital admitted him with Covid pneumonia. Soon after, they said he had an “episode” and needed to be moved to ICU on a Bipap mask. Buck was started on his 10 day course of the toxic drug, remdesivir and not long after he developed kidney failure.
On December 15, Buck was put on a ventilator for the next 23 days of his life. For the first 14 days of his hospital stay he was completely isolated from his wife and family. There was virtually no communication between the hospital and Jill. The nurses were nice and answered her questions but the doctors were often rude and short with Jill if she even was able to talk to them at all.
Buck was on a cocktail of sedatives and paralytics and even woke up after about 2 weeks on the vent, however when he did they just re-sedated him right back to an unresponsive state. Jill got the gut feeling that they just looked at her husband as an unvaccinated lost cause from the beginning. Had they tried other treatments or let him wake up and get weaned off the vent, she wonders if he would still be with her today.
Buck Parton passed away on January 8, 2022 with many unanswered questions and “what if’s” plaguing his wife, family and friends. We intend of helping Jill figure out what exactly happened to her young husband and see that justice is served.

To: It was terrible...I had to call the squad because Bob's oxygen level had dipped to the 70's. 911 to Warren County Ohio/Clearcreek Township. They weren't concerned at all about Bob. They wanted to know how many people were in our house and had we all been tested. They said Bob had to meet them at the door. When they pulled up to our house, they only parked in the street. Not the driveway. They wanted Bob to WALK to the ambulance. Insisted they put him on a gurney. They didn't turn on lights or sirens. Bob texted when he got to Sycamore and said they didnt give him oxygen in the squad. He was taken to Sycamore and they said their covid floor was full. I had to choose between Fort HAmilton or Grandview Hospital...neither have good reputations. I chose Grandview. While he was there, I spoke to a nurse once and had to take his c-pap machine to the hospital. I parked in the physicians lot...it was empty. I never had 1 call from a doctor his whole time at Grandview. He was intubated without my consent. I was able to get him transferred to Christ hospital in Cinci and he was put on an ecmo machine there. He lasted almost 2 months. The treatment at Christ was vastly different than Grandview. NEVER spoke to a dr once at Grandview. Why didnt they give him oxygen in the squad?
