Joseph Dale Christopher and his wife Pattie lived with their daughter in California. Joseph was 51 years old when he came down with Covid in January of 2021. On January 10^th they decided to take him to the hospital even though he did not want to go. He knew if he went there was a chance they would ventilate and that he would not make it out. Unfortunately, Joseph was right. Once he was dropped off at the hospital, Pattie was isolated from her husband except for text messaging. He told his wife that the nurses were not doing their job. Joseph was also denied food and water for many days.

About eight days after being admitted, they ventilated Joseph. Pattie is still waiting on the medical records to find out what medications they put him on and what really happened to him in the hospital. We do know that he had kidney failure and had to be put on dialysis and soon after on February 16, 2022, Joseph passed away.

Joseph and Pattie had known each other since they were kids and reconnected years later. They have been together for the last 17 years. Their daughter and Pattie are devastated by his death and want to see this nightmare end.
