I have been in contact with, and have sent my letters to Roland Serna, but for some reason it won’t let me upload them here.

There is a 7-page initial letter explaining, in detail, the entire event from start to finish of Doug’s being taken by ambulance to the hospital, to the removal of all life support. It was the most traumatic and horrific time of my entire life. We were married 49 years; 8 months and 8 days before they were able to murder him.

There is a second letter which contains the details of him having been abused while in the COVID ICU WARD that I would like for you to see. Again, Roland Serna  has a copy of this letter, as well. Both sets of letters, I can and will, gladly fax to you.

Roland has a complete notebook that includes both sets of letters; a complete set of Doug’s medical records for the hospital related stay; notes I took for every day he was in the hospital, which includes all names and activities that transpired each day regarding Doug’s care and his detailed status. There are two pictures in the notebook – one the day before Doug was going to get to come home, and then one as he was laying there just before we had to pull all life support.

Doug was admitted to the hospital via ambulance with left lobe pneumonia and placed in the ER COVID EMERGENCY ward. There, he had to stay until they could prove he didn’t have COVID. He remained there for a couple of days, and then was moved to a regular floor. I saw him a couple of days, and at that point, he was going to get to come home. He called me early the morning he was to come home and told me not to come because he had tested positive for covid. We were both devastated.

Everything went downhill from there. He was sent to the COVID ward for a day or so, and I got to talk to him via Facetime. He wasn’t doing well with the clunky mask they had on him. They started giving him remdesivir and then convalescent plasma, antibiotics and everything else they could think of.  My notes have complete details each day of what they added and when. Additionally, my notes have also who told me what and when.

I asked if Doug could get Hydroxychloroquine and I was told no that it was against Hospital Protocol. Even if I brought it up there, they couldn’t and wouldn’t give it to him. I was devastated.

Doug kept getting worse. He had every kind of doctor you can think of. They would call me and tell me what they were going to do to him. At one point, a patient advocate called and wanted me to make decisions for after-care. if he was a vegetable, where I would put him. I thought that was cruel and too early to be asking.

The boys and I made the best decisions we knew how to make at the time. We were not allowed to see him.

They put him in a coma to intubate him, and put him on a vent, which they said was necessary for him to have a chance to live. I’m not sure that is what I should have done, but I was listening to the doctors.

There was a situation where Doug was definitely abused by a nurse that I not only documented, but also wrote a complaint. Again, I have a copy on my computer and can it fax to you. Roland also has a copy of it. It has names, dates, etc., of everyone I spoke with.

At one point, Doug was being informed why the long tubing was being used to take the tubes outside into the hall. According to the nurse, this was done to not infect the nurses, so they wouldn’t get COVID and die. “Because so many of them had died from it already, and because they had caught it from COVID patients.” All the while, Doug was laying there fighting for his life. I heard this conversation  while I was on the phone with Doug.

It was cruel not being able to at least see Doug during this time. I didn’t care about exposure. Eventually, I got to see him two days before and then the day he died.

In all of the documentation and medical records, I have absolute proof that he was murdered in the hospital. I also have proof that the doctor would not allow me to acquire Hydroxychloroquine to bring it and give to Doug, as well as the hospital not allowing them to give it to him. His doctor also admitted that Doug got COVID while in the hospital as he did not have it when he entered the hospital.

His feeding tubes were not clean; his face was not kept clean.  When we were finally allowed to see him, he had crusted blood covering his entire lip; chin and neck area. He had Stage 3 open bed sores on his buttocks and back side; he had been excreting pink chunky stuff from his lungs that they had never seen before (I believe it was bloody lung tissue.); he had a Stage 3 bed sore on his forehead.  The only thing I can explain about his condition is one of a horror film of the worst kind. One that will haunt me forever. His Levo Line was clamped off at one point while the nurse was attending another patient.

I know I’ve rambled here. I’d preferred to send my letters, but have failed at being able to download them here. I pray that I’ve explained enough for you to understand the gravity of Doug’s case, and that you will consider taking it as I am desperate to get justice for Doug. He deserves it as he was definitely murdered. From what I’ve been told, I only have one more year to act. I’ve called so many lawyer,s and all have told me to keep calling others. Each one, so far, said they couldn’t take it because at the time of my call,  the emergency use authorization order was in place. Their hands are tied, I am told, until the EUA runs out.
