My family contracted Covid and on 8/18/2021, I called EMS and was taken to the hospital. Most of my time there was a blur. I was only allowed to see my family 3x. Once to have my daughter tell me my husband had died on 8/21/2021. Then a visit from my sister to tell me she was here to handle Carlo’s death and then again when my daughter left for school. I was moved to a less serious Covid ward and then release later that day with a bunch of prescriptions that I could never fill.
