Was the victim treated differently as a result of disclosing their vax status?: yes
How victim was treated differently after disclosing vax status:
The staff mocked and derided him, and one aide even told him he had no right to be there, that he shouldn't even be in a bed, or hosptialized
They denied treatment for more serious health issues than covid, including blood in his stool, telling him he had an upper GI bleed, but ignored it, stating that they are only focusing on covid
They go in for a little help with some oxygen, and come out ready to bury...

He’s Gone, We Need the Bed, nurse to Vet’s wife

On September 1st 2021 my late husband Christopher was admitted to the hospital via the Emergency room department.
He had tested positive for Covid 19 on August 26, 2021.
I was not allowed to go into the ER or anywhere in the hospital for that matter. I was told I have to leave the building and go home.
I was informed later that day that Chris was put on oxygen as he was having difficulty breathing.
This was via the nurse.
I brought him his cell phone on the 3rd so he could call me or text if he wanted or needed too.
I left it with the ER and they had someone take it to him.
As for the phone. The whole time he was there in the hospital there where many hours upon hours that I could not reach him.
When I finally did Chris told me that they kept taking his phone.. Interesting.
Since the ER admission he was berated and made to feel unimportant because he refused to take the shot.
There was one instance where one of the hospital aids went into his room started saying that he was selfish inconsiderate didn’t deserve a bed or medical attention. This upset my husband a great deal and he called me one of the rare times he had his phone. Before I could even call the nurses station his nurse(Kelly)called me and said it was not her and that the other person would not be allowed into his room again.Interesting fact, it was not noted in his chart. He was constantly tangled in wires and had a hard time getting up to use the bathroom by himself. That comment made into his chart.
I was not aware of everything that was going on. Whenever anyone called me it was. You’re husband looks ill and refuses the vent. A pulmonary consult was done.
However upon receiving his medical records a year later.. I found that during the first 4 days of his stay they were aware that he had blood in his stool and that he had somesort of injury to his kidneys. It was not mentioned to me nor did they do anything about it. Gi consult nor urologist consult were done when they reviewed his test results.
on the 12th of September around 10pm I get a call from the nurse telling me my husband needs blood? I was like why?
She said oh we think he has an upper gi bleed, Why do they think that because his bowel movement was massive blood. they
said they called for a GI doctor at that time.
My husband passed away the morning of the 13th september while I was trying to talk to him on the phone. I never heard him speak I hadn’t seen him in 13 days and the nurse comes on and says sorry he is gone. Please make arrangements we need the bed.
I tried to log back into his patient chart but they had already shut it down like 3 minutes after he passed.
If they knew he had blood in his stools at the start why wasn’t the gi dr called to check him. The same with a urologist ?
I was told When a patient comes in with positive covid 19 our protocal is to deal with the covid. Anything else was secondary. So he went untreated for everything else.
