I knew that this virus, or whatever it was, that was released on the population of the US, was used to control the election so President Trump would not get re-elected. I follow alternative media and educated myself as much as possible regarding alternative treatments.
The whole family got sick right about the same time. My husband had severe dizziness and spent most of the time lying down in bed. I was sick also with a fever and respiratory symptoms, but I did not have the dizziness.
About 7 days after the first symptoms developed, I called our Primary Care doctor and asked for an appointment. They told me I had to get him to the emergency room. I had to call 911 and get ambulance to take my husband to the hospital. He was unable to get up or walk. Once in the emergency room, they made me wait in the waiting room while they did the initial exam.
Once he was diagnosed with COVID-19 pneumonia, we were taken to another place in the hospital where he was admitted. The doctor said that I would not be able to visit; they would put him on oxygen, fluids. I would be kept up to date via phone calls. I asked for treatment with HCQ and/or ivermectin and was told that those medications were not available for his treatment.
After admission, the doctor called and recommended remdesivir. We were both against that treatment, however, there was nothing else offered. It was take the remdesivir or nothing. So, after 2 days, we both felt that there was not other option. They gave him 5 doses, one daily. They also gave him a blood thinner to prevent clotting.
After about 6 days, there was no change in his symptoms. Still on oxygen, not allowed to get up, not sleeping, not eating. Eventually they gave him Budesonide. I requested Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Zinc. They actually approved.
The doctors called most days with a progress report. Mostly there was no change. At day 11, my husband announced that he was leaving! They scrambled and made it happen. He came home with oxygen and instructions for 10L. The home health nurse advised that he didn’t need 10L, but 3L, as necessary.
He got better quickly. Mostly he could rest and eat real food! He did use the oxygen for about the first week or so, only when he was moving about, showering, walking, etc. I really think the resting helped the most. And at the first visit with the Primary Care doctor, he was diagnosed with a bed sore! Unbelievable!
We feel that it was totally unnecessary to spend 11 days in the hospital, not sleeping, not being allowed to get up. He could have been managed so much better at home. Of course, after this, any little symptom of a cold or runny nose, cough, my husband thinks that he’s getting pneumonia again! So much anxiety has been created. I don’t know if there are any lingering side effect from remdesivir. He has tried to detox from that drug.
