The staff at the hospital tried to make me a candidate to go on the ventilator; however I refused. I was purposely drinking around 1 to 2 gallons of water per day. I stayed hydrated to keep my kidneys functioning to remove the toxins and prevent them from shutting down. I firmly believe this protected me and delivered me from this near-death experience.
