Vicki and Rick’s Story

Rick had been over at our daughter’s house and came home not feeling well on December 2, 2020. (Our anniversary ) He said he was going up to bed to rest for a while. A few days later, Vicki contacted Rick’s PCP on Rick’s behalf. The PCP prescribed some medications that really did not help.
About a week later, Rick was having trouble breathing and he asked to go to the hospital. The paramedics were called and that was the last time Vicki saw Rick. He was on the Bipap on 12/15/2020 and moved to a Ventilator 12/16/2020.
Vicki herself ended up at the same hospital transported by ambulance a few days later. Vicki was in the same hospital when her husband succumbed to the Death Protocol.
The doctor noted in the records that Remdesivir would not help him because it’s been too long. But they gave it to him anyway. Imodium for diarrhea and MiraLax.
