Mrs. Myrna was a lady who liked to stay busy. She would go to her daughter’s work just to help her around the beauty shop. One day her husband Joel (JD), noticed she was not herself and that she was sleeping a lot. He got concerned and called her daughter to come over and check on her. Her daughter said, “mom do you think you have Covid?” Myrna said yes. Joel decided they needed to call the ambulance and go to the hospital. After she arrived, even though her oxygen was at 96, they wanted to put her on a ventilator. Joel said no. He suggested Dr. Bartlett’s protocol that he had read about and that seemed to be working.

The hospital said no and started her on Remdesivir on the first day she was there. That night her oxygen dropped extremely low but came back up the next morning. She was given remdesivir for the next four days and her condition rapidly deteriorated. He believes someone had called and scared her because the next day she was on a ventilator. Joel noticed in her notes that the nurse wrote that she had been thrashing around in the bed, they had her tied down and she wanted up. He noticed that they added midazolam to her lengthy medication list. Soon after they vented Myrna, they did the trachea tube and feeding peg. They told Joel that they explained this to him, but he says they did not and that he would not have agreed because now she cannot talk anymore.

On October 27th Myrna tested Covid free and now allowed to have one visitor at a time. Joel would go to the hospital with his packed lunch and stay anywhere from five to nine hours a day. He would sit by her bed and pray with her, read to her and be a loving husband who wanted his wife to come home. Joel would also sit by her bedside, watch the monitors, and track her numbers for about a month. The staff finally told him it was time to move her to a recovery hospital. She was only on 30% strength on the ventilator but said they could not wean her off and now she had sepsis. Joel believes because she was so heavily sedated is the reason, she cannot get off the vent. Joel begged them to try other things like high dose vitamin C, vitamin D, ivermectin, anything else than what they were doing. He was rejected on every suggestion and read in the notes that the nurse wrote, “husband is grasping at straws.”

After Myrna was moved to the next hospital, they talked about palliative care which Joel was unsure what that was. They never explained anything to him, and he had push back from the doctors and nurses at every corner. Joel noticed she was gaining weight quite rapidly, from fluids from the steroids and remdesivir. Everyday he would get conflicting reports of how she was doing. Finally, the doctor said she was not progressing and suggested taking her off the ventilator. After a hard conversation with her daughters, they agreed. The doctor said they would sedate her to make it easier. The doctors gave Myrna high doses of morphine, midazolam, and Ativan. He believes they did not kill her by unplugging the vent, they euthanized her. It took Myrna over an hour before she took her last breath, with Joel holding her hand the entire time, praying for a miracle.

Joel does not believe his wife needed to die. He believes, like most of us do, that the virus did not kill her, but the hospital protocol and medications did. He wanted to tell his story and warn others what is happening in hospitals and believes they are killing people to try and scare them into taking the vaccine. It is not at all an implausible theory. I tend to agree.
