Our entire family caught COVID and everyone was able to recover except Mike. He would cough and almost pass out. I was scared he would and I wouldn’t be able to help him if he got beyond what I could do. So we got him to go to the hospital. I figured he was still up andy moving around at that point, with a little help he could get past it. I begged for hydroxychloroquine, but they said no and also for the antibodies.
After we took him to the hospital, we weren’t allowed in because we all still tested positive. When we were allowed to visit, it was only to stand outside his room window and look in. I couldn’t physically do that, so I stayed home and called twice a day checking on him. They pretty much had free rein over him until he died.
