The travel nurses from the Dominican Republic did a ritual over him in a foreign language, waving their hands over his body, before they extubated him -without my permission when he was passing away!

Mark was coughing bad so we went to his Dr at Meritus urgent care on January 19, 2021. Dr said Mark had symptoms of Covid so we were taken to the “Covid Room”. Which I found scary. Mark was given the Covid test which turned out Negative.
He was given the antibiotic Augmentin and an inhaler. We went to get Rx filled and the inhaler was not in the order. The following morning I found Mark on the floor because he fell out of bed. I called the ambulance. They put him on a stair chair. Mark was talking at that time and they took him to Meritus Medical Center.
They gave another Covid test and Mark was positive. They hooked him up to Oxygen so he could breathe better. He stayed in the emergency room until they found a bed for him. He was admitted to the hospital. On the ICU unit. They still had oxygen on him. Later that night they told me he was not breathing well. They insisted that if I wanted him to get better they need to place him on a Ventilator.
So with that being said I was forced to say yes. I went in the next day Mark was no longer alert. I visited that morning and early afternoon. I went home to our apartment suddenly I felt so exhausted started coughing really bad. I went to Med Express on Dual Hwy Hagerstown MD. I walked in I was waited on the took my Oxygen Pulse it was very low and I tested positive for Covid so they took me by ambulance to Meritus Medical Center Emergency room.
They checked me over and hooked me up to Oxygen. I was not able to see Mark because I was in the hospital also. I was then give 3 bags of Remdesivir the last bag I only got 1/2 a dose the ambulance came and took me to my parents house for the night with an oxygen tank. I was sent home with Mucinex and Dexamethasone . Take until all. Meanwhile I had to call the nurses and Drs who were taking care of Mark to get his update.
My daughter, Shana Myers was allowed to visit him in my place. January 31 I got a phone call later at night. The surgeon said the medicine was not reaching Mark as well as they wanted so they asked permission for them to have surgery at the carotid artery so the medicine would go to the heart and speed up Marks healing. I trusted their expertise and allowed it to happen.
They called back said surgery was successful and Mark was stable. I was relieved. The next day I am still weak they said he took a turn for the worse. They said to come to the hospital have a family meeting. That even we decided to take Mark off the ventilator. They said his kidneys were failing and he had sepsis. They extubated his ventilator and he died. the nurses never checked on Mark once after the extubation.
For 4-1/2 hours during this time, i was not allowed to leave to get food or to use the restroom privately. I am diabetic and needed to eat. He passed away after 4 agonizing hours. They told us he would pass in a few minutes, but he didn’t, and they never came back in to check on him, to give him anything to ease his passing.
