We had a wonderful life, together for 47 years; I was 19 and Gerrie was 18 when we married in 1975.

After the election was stolen in 2020 and the border opened wide up, we caught this delta variant, they said in late July of 2021. We were getting worse when at first we thought we had a sinus infection, maybe in late July.  We woke up Sunday morning of August 1st that year, and I drove us to a primary care clinic, where we tested positive for COVID-19.  They came back and told us we had the delta variant; sent us home with prednisone and an antibiotic, I believe.

The next day, on Monday morning, we talked to our primary care doctor of over 30 years.  He got us into TMC in Bonham for this IV treatment they were administering.  He told us it was the only place giving it in our area at the time.  It was supposed to be what got President Trump so much better, they told us.

We went over there on Tuesday morning to get this treatment, but Gerrie’s oxygen levels were too low, so they wouldn’t give it to her, they said.  I received it, and I couldn’t tell that it did anything for me.

Anyway, they immediately admitted her to ICU, and that was the last time I saw my sweet wife 😭.  A day or so later, they transferred her to TMC in Denison explaining they could “take care” of her “better” over there.

In the meantime, I went back to our home in Whitesboro where I was so sick.  They saw me in the ER of this same hospital on Saturday that same week, and kept me for 4 hours to get my vitals back up.  They administered steroids and sent me home with a strong antibiotic.  Before I left, I begged these people to let me see my wife, since she was just in the adjacent building on the second floor.  They refused stating it was against their protocol.  As you can imagine, I was livid 😡 so I went back home, where our daughter brought my prescription to me.

The following Monday, after days of having Gerrie on this poison, remdesivir, they tried to vent her, and she coded, and God took her that morning, early.
