Kelly and Doug Moore had a great life. They had five kids and shared a love of motorcycles. Doug was a strong, healthy, 61-year-old truck driver who was the glue of the family. On December 13, 2020 he complained of having a backache only soon to find out he had Covid—Covid pneumonia, according to the doctor. He was told, per CDC guidance, to stay home, get lots of rest and fluids, and let it run its course. However, his symptoms progressed, and he ended up going to the hospital for care. His wife Kelly asked the doctor for HCQ, and like so many others, was denied. The doctors put him on an array of medications such as steroids, different antibiotics, anxiety medications, even insulin, and of course they immediately started him on remdesivir—without any warning, consent, or permission. Kelly and Doug had learned to trust their doctors and thought they had the best interest at heart.

Doug had told Kelly that he wanted to come home. She was only allowed to speak to him by phone. The doctor talked to Kelly about a ventilator, and though she was surprised by his comment, she replied that she just wanted the best for her husband, and to do whatever it takes to make him better. On December 30, they ventilated Doug. The doctor told Kelly it was not going to well and did not think he would make it. However, on December 31^st, the doctor told Kelly that Doug had strong organs and they wanted to transfer him to another hospital three hours away that had an ECMO machine, known as the modern iron lung. Doug had blood in his urine and was having kidney failure, two of remdesivir’s trademarks. Doctor would always just reply “it’s Covid” whenever Kelly or his friends or family had a question about his rapid deterioration, as if that were a sufficient answer. Kelly and her brother got to see Doug. finally, on January 16, 2021—the day they unplugged his ventilator—and Doug passed away.

Like so many, Doug did not have to die. The FDA’s death protocol has taken so many victims and ruined so many lives and families. Kelly was very brave to tell her story and get it on the record so she can help fight the malicious and powerful forces that we are up against. We will prevail. Rest in peace Doug Moore, we will get them.
